Social Media for Trust20


The Problem: 

As Trust20's marketing agency, we are tasked with managing all facets of the brand's social media. Trust20 is a food safety training provider, so we knew it would be challenging to get our audience excited about the topic.

The Strategy: 

When we first began managing social media for Trust20, we started by analyzing the brand. What imagery could we use to showcase our virtual product? What tone should we adopt? And what audiences are we trying to reach? 

After establishing our brand guidelines and messaging, we created buckets for the types of content we wanted to post on each platform. We implemented social media planning on Trust20's project management platform, Monday.com, and set up post scheduling on Hootsuite.

The Tactics:

When diving into Trust20’s social media presence, we focused heavily on how we wanted Trust20’s brand to be reflected on social media. We wanted to present Trust20 as the trustworthy and educational food safety training provider that it is

We created audience personas to help guide our messaging and leaned in Trust20’s mission for advancing food safety culture in the United States. These two factors informed our content buckets for each social platform and our tone.

Organization is vital for any team. When managing multiple social media accounts, we strive for optimal organization amongst team members, process, and execution. That’s why we created a bulletproof social media standard operating procedure, implemented a scheduling platform, and created a yearly social media plan with quarterly check-ins and monthly reporting.  

The Results: 

  • Since 2021, we’ve seen the Trust20 social media grow tenfold. Following the creation of our standard content creation process, we’ve expanded our strategy to fit the changing needs of the growing business.

  • We’ve implemented video content in collaboration with Trust20’s parent company, launched Trust20 on new platforms like TikTok, and solidified our branding. 

  • We’ve increased follower counts, reach, and engagement rates on all platforms and execute reporting through Databox to track various metrics across the board.
