Summer Marketing Intern

About the role

Paralian Marketing is seeking a spring intern to support our growing team and client roster. This individual will work closely with our full-time team and contractors to support multiple clients, execute strategies, and support multi-channel marketing campaigns. This individual will work closely with account managers to meet the changing needs of the agency’s clients.

You may be a good candidate if you are a junior/senior in college, majoring in Marketing, Communications, English, or adjacent fields, are a strong communicator and writer, and are interested in all facets of marketing, from strategy to baseline execution. 

This role is for 10-15 hours/week. The hours you choose to work are flexible, but candidates must be available for occasional meetings between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications:

  • Student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or adjacent fields

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

  • Creative and marketing savvy

  • Ability to work independently with guidance and direction 

  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficient in G-Suite and Canva

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write blogs, website content, and social media captions, along with designing social media graphics on Canva

  • Campaign Support: Assist our team in executing digital and traditional marketing campaigns across clients. Responsibilities include assisting with high-level annual and quarterly strategies, content development, social media, digital advertising, general marketing, and public relations.

  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, client competitors, and potential clients.

  • Business Development: Help with everyday business upkeep, like maintaining processes and planning documents, managing our LinkedIn account, etc. 

*Responsibilities will vary week-to-week depending on clients’ needs at the time.

Compensation

$15 - 20 per hour commensurate with experience.
