Trade Shows for Trust20
The Problem:
Trust20 is an online food safety training course provider attending its first series of trade shows. The brand was not yet well-known among its target audience of food service professionals. So our challenge was twofold: establish and execute a plan, and build brand awareness in the process.
The Strategy:
First, we researched competitors to see how they positioned themselves in the market and showed up at trade shows. What did their booths look like? What did their collateral look like? From there, we hosted and led a series of workshops with Trust20 team members to solidify our direction for branding materials and social strategy.
The Tactics:
To begin our process, we collected information and feedback from the Trust20 team about how we should present Trust20 as a whole. After collecting our data, we developed a detailed 40-page show guide detailing our booth design, marketing collateral, social media, and internal documents for the Trust20 team about important talking points to bring up with customers at the show.
We developed all marketing materials, including brochures, handouts, and branded items. Additionally, we consulted on our booth design.
Finally, we created a social media strategy for the trade shows that reflected the personality of our team and brand. We organized mini-trivia interviews with show attendees to help create brand awareness and drive social engagement with interesting and interactive video content.
The Result:
Since Trust20 attended its first trade show a year ago, YoY revenue has increased by 99.28%.
Brand awareness has grown in key markets (including many of the cities we visited through the trade shows).
We’ve tracked dozens of conversions linked to our event collateral and communications.
